At Least They're Committed

Why, yes! It HAS been a while. That’s the great thing about writing a blog with which you have no intention of making money nor any care of whether it’s being read or not. Consistency? Meh.

I was lying in bed not sleeping again last night puzzling about how any U.S. citizen with the ability to read could actually support a presidential candidate who is a convicted felon, incited an insurgence against this country, has been caught lying thousands of times and — as it is coming out now — is a pedophile who raped underage girls along with his good buddy Jeff Epstein. Among other things, of course.

Surprisingly, I got angel-blocked at a barbecue in southwest Colorado earlier this month as my husband told me later one of the attendees was wearing a Trump shirt. Here I was super happy to see her. After D told me, I was grateful that I had been angel-blocked because I would otherwise gotten ‘ill’ (not an exaggeration when it comes to Trump) and gone back the the Park Home and skipped the rest of the event.

After two hours last night of pondering and puzzling and praying for God to give my brain peace and to let go of this fear and worry and have faith in Him, I might have had an epiphany. Trump is too stupid to be the antichrist, obviously, but that doesn’t mean the devil isn’t at work here.

Can Satan be ‘fallen-angel-blocking’ their brains? Telling them to avoid the truth? Telling them to believe everything they are told by irreputable sources and that they want to be the truth? Inciting those willing take up arms against those who attempt to save them with the honest to GOD truth?

“For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:24 in all English translations

See, and this is what I couldn’t wrap my head around. These dictators and dictator wannabes across the globe aren’t performing great signs and wonders to deceive. No parting of the seas, no helping the blind see, no raising anyone from the dead . . . you get the picture.

They have parted the country. They are inflicting blindness to all who see. They are calling for others’ death, not resurrection. But what I’ve come to see is that the evil must be coming through the person, such as with Trump, not from the person. The people are puppets created by all that is wrong in the world as the evil finds ways to hypnotize and manipulate these masses.

When I was a little girl still living in Michigan, as the anti-Christ was discussed, they spoke of the evil and the foolish gathering those who are loyal to the true God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. They would be jailed and if they did not denounce their faith they would be beheaded.

“How terrifying!” I thought. I lost sleep over that, too. But if that were to be a true prophecy, fine, lop it off! It’s not as scary to think about now as it was then. That said, I have children and grandchildren and if Trump were to win (how dare MAGA say or post images that depict any of God’s angels protected him because he is ‘chosen’ — that is pure blasphemy) I’ll need to try to stick around and fight the good fight.

I hear Portugal is lovely and a lively option for ex-pats. Too hard to get my extensive family there and settled, I’m afraid. Maybe we’ll start a commune at the ranch. No MAGAts allowed, of course. Hey, us actual followers of Christ’s word (or those of us who try really hard) know how to use guns and defend our families, too.

Or maybe this is the end of the world and all our spirits — those of us who have lived a full life and those who were sent here recently and never had a chance — can be given another chance in another world in another lifetime.
