At Least They're Committed

Although it was great to see old friends the past weekend, it reminded me of something I wish I could tell all men of any merit. Don’t look away! It is common to cast your eyes upon the person across from you and if that person happens to look back, it would be appropriate to pleasantly acknowledge in a small way. But this is what happens with many a man: “I’m looking at her because I want her and I wonder if she’d want me and I’m picturing her naked and . . . OH SHIT! She caught me!” And his eyes dart away. Now, if the dude had not been thinking of something for which he felt sheepish, he would have simply nodded or smiled and/or casually looked away. The eye shuffle is a dead give-away that there’s something, oh, let’s say saucy, behind that otherwise innocuous glance. I should add that I mostly find those glances rather shy and amusing, but I’m guessing the man doesn’t appreciate that he’s outed himself and most times, I’m afraid, he doesn’t even know.
