Dezmond has not made his arrival yet. Bugger! No matter, I have plenty of time off and because I’ll be working tomorrow morning I can take an afternoon off whenever I wish, so long as it’s not a meeting day or summit or such . . . so probably sometime and maybe never.
I found my book! After it disappearing for three weeks, it reappeared at my bedside right where I’d looked about 20 times. Strange things going on here! Poltergeist! Fun! The Scottish tartan I’d been missing for four years suddenly reappeared, too, in nearly the precise spot on the garage floor that the wrench disappeared. It was folded nicely and in pristine condition.
I’m looking at my new Dante, who I adopted using my birthday money and who I shall take with me to work tomorrow, and he’s slumped over on the kitchen table. He should not slump! He should be proud! It matters not what we are born as rather what we become! Oh, and the book is awesome! Just that the characters are so young. I don’t long to be younger, just more attractive. Can you imagine how awesome we’d be if we’d met when we were younger? After finding it, I finished the 300 remaining pages this afternoon. GASP! I neeeeeeds my escapism, ya know? Sorry. Random.
