While it’s well documented on this blog that Gabriel, Rafe and I soundly enjoy building playlists based on events — typically nefarious ones — in my life and their existence, I was treated on the bus this morning to a Playlist by God. It’s happened once or twice before but not near the length of this playlist (which is not to say this one was particularly long). It started with Summer Breeze (Seals & Crofts, very calming) and as it was winding down I pondered whether to just seek out my latest new old favorite, It Don’t Come Easy (Ringo Starr), but I didn’t need to. It popped up next! Chance of that happening? One in 322. Next was Better (Regina Spektor) followed by the grand finale Dear God (Avenged Sevenfold, of course!). Thanks God! A lovely way to start the day!
