At Least They're Committed

I love my girlfriends. We don’t get together often enough, but when we do it’s the ultimate therapy. Friday night with Caitlin, Tonya and their friend Meghan — who totally rocks — was an infusion of life. Getting to see Caitlin again yesterday at the game — amazing. Add to that texting with Colleen last night and this morning and my Sunday chat with Ellen and, really, I am truly, truly flying. Sometimes I step back and I’m absolutely amazed that these people I care about so much care about me as well. It’s true I miss getting to work with friends. We miss each other. Our coming together was harmonic convergence and we’ll likely never have that again. But if we can keep holding onto each other, even though we’re far away, and if I can keep having weekends like this one, well, we’ll rock on.
