At Least They're Committed

While I don’t entirely pity those attending Independence Day barbecues and family gatherings, I don’t envy them either. I’ve always felt being around large groups of people, especially relatives, should be relegated to once, say, a decade. So much work to be nice to people you only like because you’re supposed to! And whether you’re related or not, it seems there are always plenty of them around. Small groups are great, the smaller the better. Immediate family or a night out with Caitlin and Jeff are always good.
