At Least They're Committed

… it’s Wednesday so Darian is over and screw it, I’m using his real name and as I was trying to acknowledge to him that I found the video I’d promised to watch about the Rat Pack with Don Cheedle, who is from Denver and I love, that I was hoping he’d forget about but geez he’s my son so he didn’t and I wanted to keep him here as long as I could because my children are all, ALL, I live for was actually rivetting I kept saying “well, Darian said” when I meant “Dante said,” and vice versa and they look at me as if I’m lost but maybe, maybe I’m not. People look at dying for their kids as an incredible, horonable thing and I agree . . . but, with a little bit of wine in me I have to concede that living for your children is a lot more challenging.
