At Least They're Committed

So I’m done tonight being everything to everyone and so we’re watching Boondock Saints and I remember delighting in the religious/spiritual juxtaposition of the whole thing and down to earth acting and dialogue, but not having a clue what it’s about and I’m thinking tonight is no different. Family ties. Not messin’ with family. That’s something I can relate to. Anyway, the dad who they thought was their enemy saves the boys and there’s a happy ending. That’s all I remember and I’ll be long asleep before this finishes tonight. That and Willem DeFoe, who is amazing as a gay transvestite!!! LOVE him!!! “Kinda makes me feel like Riverdancing!”

Anyway, when I was walking today . . .

Anyway, back to the creek. When I was walking Cherry Creek the past week I was thinking how the water had risen and how I’d struggled to find the right words to explain it and everything seemed phalic: burgeoning, engorged, swollen . . . it just seemed naughty.
