At Least They're Committed

The main reason I blog is for my children and grandchildren (the later of which will probably never know me). Now, if you’ll just get your jaw off the floor, yeah, like that, I will say yes, I know a lot of this isn’t exactly kid-friendly stuff, but that’s the point. Life’s lessons are seldom kid friendly stuff. Anyway, when I die, I hope that someone will direct my kids to this. And in that vein, I have decided to start recording my favorite stories from my journalism career. It seems fitting since it’s a dying industry, with my beloved Rocky Mountain News — and the incomes of my beloved friends — a breath away from annihilation. So soon I shall be regaling you with stories — or at least a story — about celebrities, cannibalism, justice, injustice, brutal murders and all sorts of stuff like that. Fun, huh?? But probably not today.
